This is the first night of the Hungry Ghost festival. They honor the dead and give offerings to help with their journey through death. This is the hall before the festivities begin.


This is made of paper and will be burned as an offering

Not all made of paper but still very important on the journey, some beer, a fan, hat and a pack of smokes

Some people to party with
some good grub
a fancy table with lots of stuff on it
oh yeah and some cash
what I love about this place is that no matter where you go or what the occasion is
there are always some chicken wings
And then there was the auction, look at all the neet stuff
If you look closely you will notice most of it is booze. How can you go wrong
So these are some of the heavy hitters don't know who they are but thought the tapestries were pretty cool

And on to the entertainment. They leave the fist row of chairs empty for the ghost to sit at since they are the guests of honor

And the main show. It was all in Chinese so I have no idea what was going on but it was very loud and smoky
