After a long flight a little dinner and drinks were in order
Barbara liked the drinks part, maybe a little too much
Dinner was stewed beef in Chianti on mashed potatoes, one of Barbara's favorites
More drinks the next day
Then off to the spa for a fishy foot bath, these things are like little piranhas that feast on the dead skin on your feet
Barbara's not so comfy, she's a little ticklish
So is Harriet

No really it doesn't hurt, it feels good

This is our place in Bali. It was pretty cool
But Barbara wasn't so cool with the bathroom being connected to the kitchen. Oh yeah and no door for the bathroom, Barbara definitely was not cool with that

This is the KaChuk chanting circle which starts a show which depicts a princess being kidnapped by a rival king then some spirits intervene and in the end all is well after the white monkey comes in and saves the princess. So thats all great but this is the real kicker in the performance
This was a little nuts. At the end of the show the white monkey is sitting in the middle of all these burning piles of hay with kerosene poured on them, look closely and you can see him in there
Then he gets up and starts running around kicking the piles of burning hay. Keep in mind the audiance and chanters are sitting right up to the edge of the performance area
It was crazy. There were at least 4 times the the hay landed on the chanters and they got up got up running and yelling while other were trying to put out the flames. Saftey comes second

Harriet after she found out she was going to staying and extra week because of the volcano, so we went and celebrated a Lagnaa, my favorite indian restaurant
And yes we ate the whole thing
