Happy Birthday Barbara.

We went to a brunch at some fancy hotel for Barbara and Aamir's birthday. There was all you can eat sea food and free flowing champagne. What more can you ask for...
This is where the mayhem took place. It looks relatively tame For now
There was an ex-mainframe contingent there Aamir, Barbara Gio and Jeremy Brown
The honorary birthday revellers
Lets start with some oysters and seared tuna and salmon and tuna sashimi. This is the best sashimi I have had in Singapore. I went back for 3 helpings.
After that some cured meats and feta cheese. Had to get a good filling of this also. Very hard to find here. Time to fill my boots as the saying goes
Oh yeah and then there was the lobster. Also had two of these. Yes I am getting my moneys worth
The drinks were good as well as John can attest to, but I was more about the food

Aamir and Cheng, happy people
Did I mention free flowing champagne?
More sashimi, mmmmm
The perfect gift for Barbara. She is so easy to buy for
Now for some beef from the leg o beef that was hanging in the center of the room and mashed taters, ahh hell yeah
Barbara went for the pasta. A strange move on the grand scheme of things with all that was available but very good none the less
She did have room for the ice cream after though. Very proud of my girl. She got her moneys worth
I went for the cheese and dragon fruit.
This would be the symbolic end of the day at the restaurant
And the following discussion as to who broke the glass
I think it was one of these three, what do you think

The day continued on to the bar on top of the Marina Bay sands called Ku De Ta, and yes that's Jagermiester in our hands. Never a good sign
Gio making sure everything is on the up and up
The pic doesn't show it but those are flaming Lamborghini's and if you thought the Jagermeister was a bad sign this is the beginning of the end. No one should ever order these
Because this is what follows
The view
Even after all that food all day Barbara and I stopped for a calazone at the end of the evening. A good choice, believe me.

Happy Birthday Barbara and many more to come
